Kash,

<I just sold my cpq and bought back AMD.>

I like Compaq right now because of AMD. The company itself seems to be in disarray so unless Capellas acts quick, I will take my money and run. Looking forward to the conf call. Could shed some light into AMD as well.

<I do expect the bond holders to keep the price in the 37 range for a while.>

I am no expert on this topic but I thought AMD can force conversion was set at 1.3 * 37 ~ 48. I have a feeling that is where the real selling will occur. May be some of the folks who follow this closely can comment (Carl? others?).

<I am hoping for a bounce to sell some covered calls.>

Given what transpired last week, and coupled with potential sell-off from the convertible issue, 48 may become a pretty strong resistance. I am thinking of very-short term (like February) 50s.

Chuck
