Trades: sold 500 glia (1/4 of my position)
at $22, and sold a third of my AXPH
today--that one has really has run fast
these past couple days. I'll hold the rest for
the mid-teens or higher, these genomics
biotechs have absolutely been melting
up and I tend to sell too early. Bought
some Elan, ELN. Actually, I'm only halfway
into my DD, but I needed to diversify some
more and I tend not to sit on cash as long
as I should.

Question for the thread: Can it be difficult
to get otc:bb orders filled? I entered an
order for 5000 shares of something today and
the level II shows lots of 500 share increments
available--plus 6500 total under the ask column.
My order sat there for a long time, not even
partially filled, so, not having ever learned
about this level II stuff, I tried upping my
order to 6500, still no response.

Then I figured maybe I'd try chopping the order
into two 3000 share pieces--immediately 500 shares
got partially filled on one of the orders.

The rest of my orders are still sitting there half
an hour later.

What is the weak link in the system--my broker?
Is the level II all nonsense and there really are
no shares to be swept up? Kinda irritating--is it
possible that my impatience for getting the order
filled mucked things up? This particular stock
only trades around a buck and a half, so we are
not talking about a lot of money--I cant imagine
that anything but machines are doing the actual
trading, so doesn't seem like it should take this
long. Oh, finally--by cancelling an order and
re-jiggering it, did I lose my place in line,
maybe that is why I'm not getting any shares?
