Sequenom's MassArray technology uses mass spectrometry to analyze variations in DNA (the most common are called single nucleotide polymorphisms) to determine which ones have an impact on human health, agricultural yields, or livestock production. The company's Genolyzer software analyzes genotype samples. Its SpectroCHIP silicon wafers are used with the MassArray system to analyze biomolecules.
