I see feelings and traits in the human animal on a spectrum. Sexuality is one spectrum. Empathy another. I don't think a man being empathetic implys anything about his masculinity or manliness, but for some people it most certainly does. I like empathetic men, my husband is one, although he isn't as empathetic as my female friends. I am assuming by "lighter in his loafers" you are referring to a slide into homosexuality , am I mistaken?
