Thanks for the insight. What I am gathering is that due to the dynamic of being short puts, unlikely that after hours will affect your position, which was my original question.

However, covered call is more likely to have an effect. Even worse, would be someone doing a CC on a leap, as opposed to equity, as he risks becoming a short.
