To busy to dedicate sources to Nokia? Give me a break. Were you got it wrong is Nokia looks at IS-95 like it's the weak link and is looking at W-CDMA.

Jim, maybe we can raise the quality bar a little here. Instead of saying "give me a break" why don't you explain just what is so improbable about Qualcomm not wanting to hire-out their CDMA engineers since they probably have more important tasks to do just continuing to grow their own business.

You are also being unreasonable when you say the poor performance of Nokias CDMA products are because their not interested in IS-95? Seems to me they wouldn't have bothered to produce a IS-95 phone if that was the case. The fact that they tried and were less than successful contradicts your spin on the situation.
