Hey! Kinda along the lines of what others are saying. I've owned a part of this company for some time now, and while the announcement may seem like more of the same, I think I like the shift in tone.

I have always had a difficult time explaining to others what this company does, in terms your non-techie can understand. Its hard to give a 1 minute summary of why I like the company and its products, and what it holds for the future. And if you can explain it in terms people can relate to, they won't put their money into the stock.

By breaking it out into terms people can understand, "Signal Intelligence, Sensor Systems, and Telecommunications", it helps to define who this company is in laymans terms. And having a CEO who recognizes this and is committed to helping shareholders and employees realize benefit from investing in SSPI is a dramatic turnaround from the past.

FWIW, explicitly calling out telecommunications was a real positive IMHO.
