thanks for digging out that post about schwab.

as i understand it, the investor was short schwab 37.5 calls and schwab was trading as high as 37.75 near the close. i agree that the prudent move would be to close out the short call since the holder of the call could buy the stock from the investor at 37.5 and sell on the open market--the regular market at 37.75.
