About our judicial system: I'm not sure we are far from agreement. Because a system is the best in a world full of poor systems does not make it good. It is a system based on what I consider to be the highest that mankind has sought to attain. That, to me, makes it good, not comparison with bad. Because it is a system run by flawed beings it has flaws. Some things slip through the cracks. If Mr. K is guilty of some misconduct, he slipped through the system before. He could do it again. My faith in our system is limited by the limits inherent in we humans. I believe we have the best there is, but I don't believe we should ever stop trying to improve upon it because it is the best available at the moment. I want it to be better and better. People will make it that way or it won't improve.

Because I perceived no intention of attack from you, this is not a defense. I offer this as information to you because I respect your views and style. I believe you seek the truth and clarity in a sane and non harmful spirit. I like that. There is far too little of it when it comes to NVID posts in general. I would have done this privately had I been able to. Not because I fear the light, but because I know how much some will be annoyed by it.
