My heart agrees with your earnings projections. However, my mind is trying to be conservative and give me some wiggle room. If Wildfire generates big sales, the $2.00 could be conservative.

Niles is working off public IDC information. That revealed PC unit sales by company.

Compaq retained its long-standing position in Q4 as the number-one
vendor worldwide and continues to be in a horse race for the number-one
spot in the United States. Despite a number of disruptions related to
management and strategic issues throughout 1999, Compaq also held the
top spot for the year with 14% market share on growth of 19% over 1998.
