"It is my opinion that the grades were too high for the South Africans' to ignore."

Just G, I've been wondering about this recently. Does the presence in Ontario of Amplats and Implats indicate that this is the best place in the world for discovery of economically significant pgm deposits? Do the recently announced grades bear this out?

Or is this part of the de-emphasis on South African properties that resource companies like Anglogold, Goldfields, Harmony and others appear to be carrying out? On the face of it, listings in London (and possibly even Toronto?) for some of these companies appear to not only decrease perceived country risk, but enable access to exploration and development funding.
