In Response To: What makes the photon light so bright? (the mighty and invincible po)

The photon uses the latest LED from Nichia, I beleive it is a 4800mcd LED. And it is small and relatively easy to handle. Check out my sight for more general info on LED lights. I don't sell anything and I am not affiliated with any seller, I just posted the info for anyone who cares to read the info I have found about all the lights I have purchased so far.

Also,
energyoutfitters.com lists a Nichia LED flashlight.
