Not a clue Scot,maybe they wanted to distance
themselfs from the other guys? announce after
a Fed meeting? count all the extra money they
made? Probably either buying somebody or being
bought?, New CFO? Tracking stock for the I-net
division? On-Line content provider ala Yahoo?
It's kind of ironic, Activision is being
groomed as the industry savior,meanwhile
the THQ's and Take Two"s have taken it upon
themselfs to claim the sky isn't falling by
releasing a steady stream of PR. Alot of good
that does them, kind of like yelling fire.
It's all pretty amusing at this point,there
is some enjoyment in the sector, we play
the games. I couldn't imagine having any money
in this area without that perk. <G>
Here's something to ponder, look what the first
symbols of the latest casualties spell.

T thqi,thdo,ttwo
Switch them around and throw in an A for acclaim,
then you would have "meat", at this point they
all look like dead meat.
