Has anyone here opened an "unlimited advantage" account at Merrill? I went to their website and requested information. The brief description indicates its an account which charges an asset based fee, minimum $1500. No commissions on trades. But the description states that the account is not for extreme trading. It seems though that for an active trader, say 10 p&s transactions per month, the transaction costs would be lower even than etrade. Their site will probably rise to the top in terms of reliability. I read in IBD that they are using Mercury Interactive to put the site through the paces through rigorous testing.
