Craig,

"The goverment hasn't proven itself to be able to manage the slightest tasks and now it has set out to "break up" the biggest company on Earth"

Handled the logistics of WWII fairly well and broke the back of the Soviets. Maybe we should put the War Department in charge of the breakup? Also gave us the Internet to play with.

It broke up ATT and made the stockholders rich; ancilliary benefits of course being cheap long-distance and the ability to purchase non-ATT phone equipment.

A breakup will only benefit shareholders in the long run. Bill has already positioned himself to where he wants to be when a breakup occurs, don't you think?

Cheers,

Norm
