- if you write a covered call; and the underlying stock finishes well above the strike price, but the stock is still sitting in my account, then how long before I can assume the call option holder isn't going to exercise & I can just sell the stock? - the call option expired friday (1/21/00); as of close of business today, the stock was still there in the a/c - thanks
