Samsung is a budding manufacturer of NAND-based flash products, used in storage-related applications like digital still cameras and MP3 audio players, but to date has not developed NOR-flash technology, which is able to store both code and data and is widely used by cell-phone manufacturers.

Isn't Samsung a SanDisk licensee? Why did they wait so long to produce a NOR product? The co-licensing agreements appear to cover their NAND technology. Could this mean additional licensing revenues to SNDK???
