Mike,

I believe it was a three fold decision. It offers
the institutions a stake and therefore more interest
at a time when we're within striking distance and
provides enough cash to keep Dimethaid in the driver's
seat (So many smaller companies have
missed that crutial point!)

The third and most important part is that they need
to secure the manufacturing control and capacity to
produce world class volumes. I would estimate that
at a minimum this would cost several million. The
costs for the machinery, the assembly line(s),
and installation in all probability will be borne
by Dimethaid.

Spending several million from a $5 million pot would
leave Dimethaid in an unfavourable position.
Spending several million from a $15 million pot does
not.

In fact it leaves enough to begin developing the Canadian
sales infrastructure (seems pertinent) and leaves enough
for b) and d), though I doubt its enough for acquisitions.

I think it was the right move given the circumstances and
the stock hasn't suffered at all that I can see.
