Another blunder, Stevie of the same name. You just can't come to grips with the fact that there is nothing to fix. There never was a yield problem despite your confused state and there was no manufacturing problem either. Just huge demand. Intel is in the midst of a process conversion and the "problem" is fixing itself. Intel shipped far more CuMines than AMD was able to ship Athlons. Intel sold all they could make. AMD has Athlons left over collecting dust so they have resorted to a fire sale to dump the unwanted product.
