IB Switch Competitors

Ancor may have gotten the nod from Intel, but there are others working on a switch also.

Agilent is very active in developing HCAs & TCAs for IB and recently initiated a design effort for IB Switches.

Mellanox Technologies is a March 1999 start-up, a fabless semiconductor company, and they are developing TCAs and an IB Switch:

Seagull Semiconductor is a fabless VLSI semiconductor company, established in June 1998, which has developed a 0.18micron copper High Performance Superscalar RISC Processor. They are developing an IBCore product to base a family of HCAs, TCAs, and an IB Switch, on.

Competition is good, yes?
