I agree that revenue and profit matter to the S&P not just market cap so they may wait a little longer. That might even have the side benefit of a small correction so the impact isn't as great. On the other hand everyone knows this thing goes nowhere but up if you have a 6 month to 100 year time horizon, and it is a gorilla so they need to add as soon as possible. I think the positive impact of S&P addition will be muted somewhat by people buying in advance of it, selling into it. It's still going to be huge, as big as the market cap is a lot of shares will have to be bought, but there are people buying this expecting the big pop like YHOO, but with YHOO it was more out of the blue. CMB
