eBay will struggle to hit $70M in revenue for the report today.

Auction counts will come in around 45M.

The wild card is their offline auction, Butterfield's.

I am estimating $58M for online auction sales and $12M for offline auctions.

I don't think anyone will be too impressed with this report, as sequential growth will be around 22 percent.

With regard to profits, I won't even bother. It's too easy to play around with accounting, and I don't think eBay is looking to do anything other than to meet estimates.

As for this coming quarter, the first quarter is eBay's strongest in terms of sequential growth. Last year, sequential growth was a little over 70 percent, but this year, eBay will struggle to reach half that growth, and will really struggle to reach 20 percent sequential growth for the 3 quarters after that.
