Paul, Itanium's slow start and inevitable acceptance I don't have a clue either - but he/she definitely wasn't the last person to fly in a jet. Guess I should have expected that answer! Likewise, ITanium will have a slow start - probably a few hiccups along the way - but should eventually become the standard CPU for enterprise servers and workstations. Eventually...the standard... Does Intel have a roadmap? Timeline? Penetration estimates? Thanks. dmf
