Bundling agreement with HP
ACD Systems to Bundle Software with Select HP PhotoSmart Digital Cameras
Victoria, BC, (January 25, 2000) -- ACD Systems International Inc.(CDNX: ASA) announces plans to bundle a version of ACDSee 3.0 with select digital cameras from Hewlett-Packard Company beginning in Fall 2000.
ACD Systems has modified their award-winning ACDSee 3.0 specifically for HP PhotoSmart digital cameras. Audio-handling capabilities have been added to complement sound-capturing features of the HP cameras.
ACD Systems has agreed to include localized versions of ACDSee 3.0. Localized languages include Italian, European Spanish, German, French and Japanese. ACD Systems expects this strategic positioning will expand their user base by as many as one million customers. The "Contact Me" feature, added to ACDSee 3.0, will give ACDSee users a direct upgrade path to the most recent version of ACDSee, maintaining ACD Systems? commitment to solid customer relationships and continued satisfaction.
