Octel also appears to be a major player in VPIM as the article
mentioned that Octel was one of the companies that was establishig
the standards for it. Doesn't VPIM technology have a ways to go
before being launched in any significant manner. In the short to
medium term, do you see the technology affecting Sierra sales? My
guess is that it will not.

It is still very important for Octel to get that Sierra upgrade out
there. I am hoping they announce it during the earnings release
next week.

Also, I think Octel is very well positioned for the future. They appear
to be leading the race in unified messaging.

The VM companies all seem to be getting blasted lately. Do you feel
that there is concern of overcrowding in the industry? One thing
is for sure, it is not encouraging to see big guns like Lucent
getting involved.
