RE: Earnings reports. A very interesting subject. As a position trader, I profited nicely from the runup before announcement, and playing the usual gap down after. But in terms of NPs, I would be fearful of holding over the report period and I've avoided it. To easy to get crushed these days with even a small miss. However, entering the trade on a nice gap down after the announcement makes sense.

Anyone have comments on the subject?
