SEVU Press Release: SeaView Shareholders Meet, Show Support... ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- SeaView Video Technology Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SEVU) sent more than 180 attendees home from the company's annual meeting this past weekend, after an affirming vote unanimously reinstated the current Board of Directors and President/CEO Rich McBride. Shareholders also endorsed the official re-naming of the company to "SeaView Video Technology Inc." Highlights included an open house of the SEVU corporate headquarters, with a display of fully operational products from underwater cameras to the newest "light bulb camera," SecureView. Many attendees were amazed at the high-quality video and zero-light performance of the underwater cameras, but the new screw-in security camera was by far the brightest star of the show. As McBride introduced the product as a "hands-on look at the future," the camera-bulbs were connected to the hotel's light sockets, with crisp clear pictures instantly appearing on TV sets distributed around the premises, in both black-and-white and color. The audience was captivated by a "first cut" playback of the SecureView direct-response TV commercial and gave the piece a huge round of applause. The commercial was generated in-house by the company's media and creative department. "We have our own graphics and television production facility," McBride commented. "We do our own web design, even printing is done here. That gives us complete control, and we can make changes in minutes, rather than weeks." SecureView TV marketing will move forward, said Marketing Consultant Jennifer Lawson. "Direct response marketing educates the consumer and establishes a retail price point. We'll be ready then to prepare for mass merchandising requirements. Retailers are wanting the downsized GE-bulb product which is now near completion and testing." The company announced that the next round of testing will involve two Sheraton Hotel locations in the greater Ft. Lauderdale area, and that a major bank will sign up for a test program in the near future. The company's government liaison, Col. Larry Hoffman (Ret.), outlined a very positive strategy for quickly securing government contracts. SeaView currently sells product to the Coast Guard, U.S. Customs, and the EPA, in addition to hundreds of state and local law enforcement agencies. website: www.seaviewresearch.com email: sales@seaviewresearch.com Investor Information: 727-866-3660 ext. 207 This press release contains certain forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, which are intended to be covered by the safe harbors created thereby.
