Hassell,

I have seen a lot of bad earnings estimates over the past couple of years and countless earnings revisions. Reputations do not seem to be hurt too badly by missed estimates. Before investing millions in a stock the big players want to get a good feel for where the stock is heading. The analyst is their point man/woman.

Many times an analyst can affect the stock price merely by expressing concern about some company's ability to meet their current quarter's estimate. How many times has that been done to USRX over the past year? Happened right before the last report and did not move the stock price. I view that as a positive. Happened a couple of other times and the stock plunged.
