PIII went from 123mm2 to 106mm2, that's only a 13% difference, which does help, but growth in Europe and Asia will require that big a volume increase just to maintain market share (the 5th FAB is a bigger help) - they're going to need to convert most of the FABs to get back into the drivers seat.

Right now, AMD is controlling CPU prices, and can push them down at will, while still making money - it's just amazing, isn't it?
