Paul Re; <How many more HEADQUARTERS buildings does AMD have to sell ?

Can AMD sell VANTIS a second time ?

Paul , in a earlier post you stated that AMD had lost money 3 quarters in a row. True if you are using standard accounting procedures excluding one time gains and losses. However if you use standard "Intel" accounting procedures you count the sales but not the cost. Therefore, using standard Intel accounting, AMD SHOULD BE ABLE to use the sale of Vantis once. Since you haven't done that yet (AMD actually had a 53 cent profit 2q-99 if you add the sale of Vantis.)AMD SHOULD HAVE A DEFERRED DEDUCTION for next quarter. If not then quit your whining about "LOSSES 3 QUARTERS IN A ROW"
