Then by your definition, AMD was the one who started the price war and Cyrix was the victim.

I also see you as hiding behind a misleading definition. You may be happy with it but I do not see it as applying to a company with an inherently higher price, such as Intel. The definition applies only to companies that drop their price below the price set by their competition. Hence AMD conducted a price war against Cyrix as well as against Intel.
