I have no disagreement with you as to the responsibility of the participants to do their best to stay within the framework of GG investing and the terminology, either. But as you say, it is necessary to come to an agreement on terms and I think it is just more conducive to productive discourse to ask new participants what their understanding of GG terminology is, if there appears to be a deviation from the generally accepted definitions. I'm glad that you and I can agree that no one here has a lock on GGaming (including apparently Geoff Moore himself!) and quite sincerely, I really don't believe it is anyone's intent to imply such. I'm simply cautioning against the potential appearance of such an attitude. The idea of a "Round Table" replete with special names for the members conveys "clubbiness" (my word)....It's just my opinion. I like the idea of roundtable (as in discussion) but not "The Round Table" as in 14th Century Kings and Knights. Again, just a perception. Happy to hear about the handshake, though.... bp
