<Do you know that operating earnings for flea-bag are down about 88% and all that "strong" showing is from interest income? I hope bulls will
notice that this prostitute has STD before they reach orgasms over this earnings report! -g->

I found the management comments particularly stunning, in that they completely omit the dramatic fall in operating income. I have seen other reports from .coms that were much more well-rounded and "honest" (but that's not what we want here, right?), such as the Oct 99 quarterly report from FATB (Fatbrain.com).

One thing is clear, every additional customer and future revenue growth % point is costing more and more in sales & marketing + product development. One gets the feeling that the law of diminishing returns is starting to work here; if not eBay will have to pull some new rabbits out of the hat, learn how to cut costs and get their overseas ventures to add to the bottom line. My guess is they won't, at least not to a sufficient degree to justify their stock price.

I still have to look at the chart to see if there is a logical entrypoint (short) from a TA standpoint. Since FA doesn't exist for these stocks, I've been relying on "highly significant" trendline and support breaks for entrypoints to go short (since the beginning of January). Working OK so far.

Robert

PS Just looked at the chart. A convincing close below 126 might do it for me, particularly if it's on poor relative strength vs. the internet index.
