MedCom USA Medcard Sys To Be Distributed By Calif. Firm Dow Jones Newswires -- December 29, 1999 IRVINE, Calif. -- MedCom USA Inc.'s (EMED) MedCard unit signed a marketing agreement with Executive Healthcare Services for the MedCard System. In a press release Wednesday, the companies said Executive Healthcare placed an initial order for 500 MedCard System transaction-processing terminals, which its sales force will use for product demonstrations. MedCom plans to ship the terminals by Friday for Executive Healthcare to begin a sales campaign in January. Executive Healthcare expects sales of 2,000 MedCard Systems monthly. MedCom provides systems for electronically processing transactions within the health-care industry.
