I have a two computer network using a cross wired (something like that) cable so I do not need a hub. I did try two seperate hub set ups so I could put all three machines on same network but had some problems setting it up and customer support at both of the companies were a royal pain in the a.. But, thats not gonna help you. The computers I do have talking to one another are win 95 to win 98. Works fine...
