To me, the single most important information from the conference call by NT is their 100% increase in Internet Access products which increase the capacity. Increasing bandwidth access in the IP world is going to be a HUGE business and it looks like Nortel is not only winning on the backbone side (fibre optics) but they are starting to make real inroads in the first/last mile! Hope you Cisco followers took some of your capital gains into NT recently (otherwise all my posts were for nought!). NT will outperform Cisco --- GUARANTEED. By the way, NT enterprise business was down 5% this quarter supposedly due to Y2K delays. If this explanation is actually true, CSCO's quarterly numbers may be substantially lower considering that almost 95% of their business is in enterprise space.
