Rarebird, I must confess I got in over my head. I started with one put and before I knew it I got put out on the Street. It's kind of naked out there. I used to think that investing had something to do with Truth and Values. I just couldn't believe how the techs kept on surging. How did I know that the Law of Gravity would get repealed? I thought Life was fair. I thought the way up and the way down were one and the same way. My downfall was my stubbornness, my old-fashioned upbringing in that small hometown where my Mama taught me that fundamental moral values were what mattered most. Little did I know that money talks and the key to making a buck is knowing where that money is going ahead of time. Very few people care about values anymore. So, I started this thread as a refuge for the Bears. New ERA has destroyed my values and taken me to the cleaners. Is there no hope left for me? Do you expect me to become an arrogant SOB like you and invest in what I don't believe in? I know, I know, the human makes everything possible under the sun and if only I could love Human Creativity without letting my good old-fashioned moral fundamental values get in the way, I could of made a fortune in this Manic bull market. Is it to late for me, Rarebird? How high can this Market rise?
You see, Rarebird, I just didn't realize that investing is a cold-hearted business and Human Creativity is the Truth.
