To quote a popular radio show host:

"More of me and less of you is a good thing."

As a newbie, I find that I gain infinitely more by reading and not cluttering up this thread with posts that do not add much value. Particularly being one not as well versed in technology as some of the regulars on here. Ironic perhaps that I am submitting a post now, but I wish to weigh in on "taking responsibility for the quality of this thread" comments.

I am new to the game and just bought shares in my first gorilla in the past two days - QCOM. It bothers me not one iota what it is doing in after market trading as I'm in for the long haul, having made it through TFM. For the more wise GGers out there, if you were a young investor with limited funds, would you consider other "gorilla" stocks or just stick it all in QCOM? Trying to get a better understanding of risk here as I know TFM does not advocate diversification within a market. How about diversifying over several markets by investing in gorillas? Does this lower one's risk, specifically to being affected by discontinuous innovation? Should that be a concern for the GG investor? This is just a general question. I'm not asking anyone to do my research or investing for me. Thanks.
