Good Morning Ed:

I punched out of AOL on the day they announced their merger with TWX. When I first heard their announcement 6:25 am on Monday, AOL was up in pre market trading by about 12 points. After returning from a 3 mile run, it was only up 1/2. As the day progressed, I did not like the way it was behaving. I later noticed the arbitrage issue and decided to punch out. Divided my money into QCOM, BRCM, JNPR, JDSU. I learned that you just don't spit into the wind and expect to stay dry (I have no idea what the hell that means, but it sounds good).

Aftermarket activity is strongly suspect. The futures are down, We'll just have to see what the morning brings us.

Best regards,

David
