Thread: CNBC (Kernen, believe it or not!) mentioned a short while ago that some analyst (sorry, don't remember who) said that .03 of CPQ earnings were due to some type of investment gain and that, as far as he's concerned, CPQ earned .16 - in line with expectations. Then CNBC puts up a board showing CPQ earning .16!! There was a negative article in the Journal the other day about the quality of earnings of companies with a lot of investment income so I would guess that this .03 will be hotly debated in today's price action. K
