Robert, I do not deny the stench of insider trading with DLGC and GS. I would not tag the CEO as guilty yet. Clearly GS had info that the rest of us did not. Who knows where the info came from.

I know one person who works at DLGC. A lot of the employees have been holding the options. I always get encouraged when employees feel strong enough to not cash out their stock options as soon as they are vested. You can bet that they are bothered by the trend in DLGC. But unless they know something that we do not, I am sure that they are prepared to ride this one out. I would not expect to see a bunch of them jumping ship. Temporary dips in share price can be an opportunity for employees both in adjusting option price (at employers dicretion), and by getting good price in stock purchase plan. The stock of my company has been beat to death. My options are currently worthless. The shares I have accumulated through purchase plan are down sightly below purchase price. I am not discouraged, however, because I know what we are doing as a company, and I believe that in the long run, I will make a killing. I expect that most employees of DLGC share the same sentiments. What "hotter and faster growing companies" might DLGC employees go to. Certainly not NMSS or BRKT. Some maybe, but for the best and brightest of DLGC, that would be akin to moving to a DOS shop after years in Windows NT. They know that they have superior technology, and excellent future at DLGC. I do not expect to see a mass exodus of DLGC employees.

DLGC's technology leadership will keep them in front. They may find it neccesary to make some leadership changes. The CEO of a company I watch just stepped down. He was too successful. The company grew beyond his ability to manage it. This is a good problem. Perhaps DLGC is experiencing the same problem. They are positioned as the MS of CT. But clearly they do not have a "Bill Gates" running the show.

BTW: I get upset when an executive sells all of his/her shares before price slides. THis happened to me once . I lost 10K, and then found out the CFO sold all shares 2 weeks before the big slide. There was a share holder lawsuit, but the lwayers kept all the money. From what I understand with DLGC, the execs still own a lot of shares (correct me if I am wrong).
