I'm in the same position, RM. Not going to sell my core shares until they qualify for LTCG's. I think this is a great opportunity to buy QCOM LEAPS here.

This is what I've done today:

Sold 10 QCOM Feb 110 puts at $5
Bought 10 Feb QCOM 112.5 calls at $18

Sold 15 JDSU Feb 150 calls at $78
Bought 10 JDSU Feb 240 puts at $35

I'm exhausted. :) I love JDSU, BTW, this is just a cautionary move at earnings. I'm long the common.
