To Elwood, Victor, Rudedog, etc.

IMHO, this initial reaction is a typical knee-jerk reaction (I too am guilty - I was pretty darn frustrated). I believe however, that after the reality of the progress that is being made at cpq sinks in and Capellas is able to put on his dog and pony show for the analysts on Thursday (and hopefully to a lesser extent today on Power Lunch) the three point decline will be recouped in a matter of 3 or 4 days. Then as additional info. is provided during the course of the quarter I would expect cpq to rise into mid 30s very easily. My suspicion is that cpq will beat the "conservative 15% revenue growth" and will be able to show continued progress in the commercial pc segment.

Of course, only time will tell, but let's see where we are by this time next week after the knee jerk becomes a mere memory.

Go CPQ!!
