DH - Superb numbers, in fact fantastic numbers and we get a sell off. Why? Because the accountant say there is going to be a slow down in sales of 'something' ( average investor couldn't win on Who Wants to be a Millionaire if asked what 'something') in Q2. BBut the accoutant also said Q comfortable with its earnings estimate for Q2....in fact even for the year! and the stock tanks? The main numbers in the report are up bigger than anyone else has reproted this season or for that matter that I can remember from last season. Q now doesn't sell Wireless Local Loop or Handsets. It sells chips and it collects royalties from others who sell chips. If you want a CDMA system from herre on in you have to pay the Q. If you want to be in the mobile phone business in 2001 you Have to have CDMA if you want to be profotable and to compete. Europe has nailed itself to a redundant and outdated system. There is a reason, you know, why Europe is called the Old World and the US is called the new World. Brazil is going to have a more modern mobile phone system than Europe....This Year....So is Japan and Korea and China and various other coutries that LWIN has deals in....even Mexico. You will this year be able to sit in places like Accapulco and surf the net on your notebook at 64Kbs which you won't be able to do in Euriope without a fixed line. Same in Japan and Korea and ...wait a minute...also that mini-market...the USA. And wait till next year at Mbs....video on your phone and vodeo conferencing all on your mobile. Europe is out of the picture because their vendors will fight it tooth and nail...so what let them see their populations denied modern facilities just to protect their old companies. A big part of the World is going to get spanking new shinny phone service this year and Q gets paid for chips or royalty....and that is waht the cc said yesterday and the stock sold off today...OK. Whats the rush..shorts did well today OK didn't affect any longs ....enjoy your day shorts..... Manwhile every day relentlessly the move to CDMA>64Kbps>HDR continues.....T, NOK, ERICY one of you is going to have to do something ....Q longs are a patient crowd ....the technology will do its thing.....lets see how we are later thisyear and in a Years time.
