I was not! I had no choice. She has to write an essay for their Alumni Writing contest, plus a bibliography for her paper on Loren Eiseley. Naturally all this is last minute stuff - with the old excuse "Everybody does it!"
I am sick of "everybody" and wash my hands of it all. She's the one going to college.
