Hi Kemble, The PC growth alone doesn't seem to be gaining the attention it once did...too bad because the future is brighter than ever I disagree. The future was much brighter when Dell had a small market share and unleashed its superior business model on an unsuspecting competition. But now, Dell commands a major market share and cannot rely on taking significant market share from the competition to fuel its growth. That means that top-line growth is increasingly constrained by the growth of the PC industry as a whole (around 15% p.a.). In order for Dell to resume its torrid growth, or even to stabilize at current levels it must move into new businesses where it can migrate its business model.
