It doesn't express a bias Ted. It is my opinion but not a biased one. I talk to MIS managers everyday...AMD has never been in this space. So I guess every post made here needs to viewed as biased garbage since none of us are clairevoyant, right?

Six months ago this thread was told by Intel longs that the Athlon will never compete with Intel products; that AMD would never make a profit; that AMD would be in bankruptcy shortly; that the Athlon launch was MIA; that no major OEM would buy the Athlon....I could go on.

I put your statement in with them. Biases tend to prevent objective thinking and block out future possibilities. And Intel long biases are fueled by concern of possible damage to the value of their shares.

Your post re selling Athlons to corporate America was not the first one to be biased....there have been a string of them.
