Jean, I prefer shares instead of options at this time unless i am going maybe beyond May simply so that the premium won't deteriorate in the next month if the markets do nothing. I have rarely held Cisco and don't plan to in the near future except to possibly trade the shares.

Jean, your guess is as good as mine but i prefer going out a few months--at the money.
If i hold near term options, deep in the money options are probably OK as there is little premium left in these anyways.
