Biotech investing takes a long-term perspective. While I believe that David is poorly informed, at least he's not popping in here with rumors that can't be substantiated (I'm all for a secondary, if it's in the works).
Give him a break while he reviews his notes. Some who are not close to biotech, AIDS or what's going on with PI scrips are very likely to look at AGPH as a potential short. You have a choice. You can (1) understand that fear is a powerful weapon for those who want to manipulate a development-stage company and play the game with them, (2) take advantage of any near-term success that "shorts" achieve and increase your long position at bargain prices, or (3) do nothing and have confidence in your ability to recognize long-term winners. Since the picture is NOT clear, I am electing for #3.
The correction in the sector has been so severe that certain funds are being forced to sell. David is only taking advantage of market conditions that are in his favor, and, again, I haven't seen any untruths...... just opinions that are different than majority opinion on this thread.
Instead of sweating, play the game? If you're on margin with AGPH, you're justified in sweating, however. :-)
David..... the shorts, IMO, are going to get whiplashed something awful. Don't go on vacation holding that position, unless you have someone very vigilant holding the trigger.
