John,, the analyst I just saw said they blamed semiconductor, not microprocessor availability. Of course, the semis could be micros. The analyst said they are still trying to find out what kind of chips they were short. He went on to say that Dell's model of just in time is susceptible to just this sort of problems in tight markets. Bottom line: they don't know yet. Tony
